That looks nice, and those tails look pretty cool actually.

Any idea if that roof rack would fit on an older style tahoe? I might take the z71 rack off your hands if it did....

Certainly looks better without that ginormous Z71 roof rack! :smilielol: Agree on the LED tail thing -- but it's looking good man!

Do you have any pics of the top of the roof? I was thinking of doing this to my yukon. The body shop I use said it will be about $1200 to shave it, fill, and paint. If it doesn't look to bad up top, then I'll just unbolt it.

yea at the moment i just put the mounting hardware back in... however i am going to go to ace and get some low profile pan head chrome alen screws with some rubber o-rings which should make it look a little better.

i will get some pics of the roof soon

Z71 Roof Rack

Want to sell the Z71 roof rack? I've been trying to find one for a while that someone wants to offload.

Let me know what you want for it shipped.

Get yourself some set screws, they are usually an allen head and will sit flush with the top when in, should make a very clean setup when done.

I had thought about doing this.... however i was worried that nominal amounts of water would get in and rust from the instide out... so I decided to go with pan heads and rubber o-rings to keep the elements out... what do you think about water with those set crews

Just get some RTV or caulking and seal them that way, if it works for fittings or bolts then it will work for this application as well. Set screws would looks so much more trick than the pan heads, JMO!!!!
