Cold air intake 02 tahoe z71

Thinking about getting a new intake in my truck. I was wondering what your thoughts are about the K&N cold air intake. Also if this is a DYI project or a must need professional mechanic. I have some experience with working on cars but always down to learn something new. Let me know your thoughts and if its worth it.

Its a easy project the problem I have is which one to get the volant $229 k&n $269 or spectre $169

You ever installed one before? I wanna buy a K&N they got tons of install videos. Looks like a 2 hour project.

My 97 suburban I swapped a 5.3 and did my own air box n I took a hour n a half to make a mounting bracket it was a stock box I guess that's installing one
