I have a 2005 Tahoe with a 5.3.
I would others input about throttle body spacers and cold air intake set ups.

Are the worth the money?
What kind of MPG increase can I expect to gain?
What brand?

I have been looking at the Air Raid set up.

CAI's are worth it but I won't get into the long dissertation on the spacers and why they aren't worth the material they are made from.

yes, many many threads on both of these items, throttle body spacers are a waste , unless your planning a NOS fogger system.... lol

many people on here like the AEM brute force... for me, i just dont know if i can spend 3 yards on an intake setup... i already have the K&N replacment filter and plan to put strait tube from the factory air box to the intake manifold.... than i think i will mod the factory air box to allow more/colder air in...

the drop in K&N prolly gave me almost 1mpg better alone
