Hello need some help with my 96 Tahoe 5.7 gas. It has been sitting for a couple years but I did start it every month or so. It was starting ok cold but to start it when warm I would need to floor the gas to get it to start. The idle was high weither it was cold or warm and would hesitate if I tried to put it in gear. Was told that it was a vacuumed problem, possibly intake gasket. It turned out to be the coolant sensor. The computer was cleared a week before .when I got a mass air flow sensor error I put in a new MAF sensor did not fix the idle problem the temp sensor did.
I took it around the block and it had a sluggish feel and one of the lifters was tapping. The tapping was not there before.
I put a Actron CP9125 scanner on it and got these results.
P1406 (which I know is a EGR problem.)

Can anybody tell me what this means
