Anyone have a problem with a clunking noise when taking off from gears one through three? I notice it most going up hills. Mechanic says it isn't transmission. I'm confused of what it could be.
It could be a number of things, one would be worn out pinion bearings, chipped and damaged ring gears, broken spider gears, or worn posi-traction or limited-slip clutches.
