cig accessory plugs always on?

Any way of this turing off when the key is out? I have a aftermarket gps and it stays on after the key is out and door is open. Is the battery going to drain as it charges the gps battery?

Short answer is yes - however, the GPS shouldn't need much to recharge itself.
I just got in the habit of not leaving anything plugged into the socket.

thanks, I will leave it plugged in and see what happens. I would think when its fully charged it should almost take no currect.
