Hello Tahoe owners, time to get out of my 2500 and into a Z71 Tahoe. Almost bought an H3 but I am 6'1" and did not feel as if I would be comfy. Looking at a 2004 black Z71, any thing I should look out for? I love that I can salvage my Boost Intake off my 2500 and place it on the new hoe.

make sure you dont get the funky speedo that says your doing 80mph while parked in your driveway, the dealer should fix it. other than that i have an 03 and all i had to do was change the oil. i think i need a new cabin air filter tho.

Welcome! Black Z71s sure are nice. I would say just do the regular checks. Make sure all the HVAC controls completely function. Also check to make sure the 4WD doesn't seem to automatically go into certain 4WD modes when you start it. These two areas seem to be issues with some of these vehicles, especially with the 03-up HVAC controls. Don't let me scare you away though. These are great vehicles, and the problems are very few and far in between.
