Hey everyone, I bought my 05 Tahoe 3 years ago from a private seller. They told me that they had a Ultra remote start installed but could never get it to work. With winter coming here in MT, I took it to a business that specializes in remote starters. They got it to work. They said they did a hard reset on the the remote starter system. Took less than 30 min. BUT when I got in to leave, my check engine light was on. I've never had a check engine light the whole time I've owned it. They plugged it in and it had 6 codes showing. All related to my torque converter. They cleared the codes and said it should be good to go. But now my Tahoe is performing terrible. From a complete stop, it's real sluggish. I can put the pedal to the floor and it won't go over 2k rpms. Once I get going, it does a little better. Wondering if the previous owners had the same issues and that's why theyou've disabled the remote starter. Any help is appreciated.

Make sure that the tach wire is not touching anything also I would unplug the remote starter and see if it is still doing the same thing....
