Also the side pannels on the rear are smooth instead of indented like the Denali. Maybe it comes as all three pieces Both posted pics have it in common..

I put these vent caps on my Denali. They were not the best quality though and took some minor modifications to get them to fit properly. If i remember correctly, there are 2 screws holding one side and the other side has tabs that wedge under the glass.

I rather just have my vent covers painted. I llike them the way they are, rather then them be smooth.

Do you know where the screws are..?? I haven't even messed with it yet?

Oh and painting them could be an option for me, i just can't stand that wierd oily film look they have to them.

Just open the hatch and take a look, it's pretty obvious.

Simple mods -- both the glass, 3rd brake light and the vents...

i know the vents are seperate but is the glass and light just one piece? it would be nice if it was seperate.

and I had a little bit of time the other day to check out the vent covers, it had one bolt at the top inside the hatch and seemed to have three tabs going under the window. But i couldn't get it out because i thought i was gonna break it so i stopped. do i need to take out the hatch support out or some hidden screws??

Mine had two screws inside the hatch, so make sure you have them out. I had to pry on mine pretty hard to get them out. I have a Denali and the tabs were not connected to anything, just kind of snapped in place. The hatch was also kind of in the way then prying them out, but i was barely able to sqeeze them past. Also keep this in mind if you get them painted or get new covers that it will take some work to get the new ones in and you want to be carefull not to chip or scratch the paint. The tabs on the new covers i bought were a little thicker than the the originals so i trimmed them down a bit to help with the install.
