Cam Shaft Position Sensor. How to.

So, my check engine light came on. I plugged a diagnostic computer into it, and the fault code that came up was for the cam shaft position sensor. Where is it? And how do I fix it.

its gotta be on the lower side of the motor somewhere-http://www.autozone.com/R,APP285364/vehicleId,2522001/initialAction,partProductDetail/store,266/partType,00158/shopping/partProductDetail.htm this is from autozone.com - thats the sensor.. locating it? erm.. its bound to not be easy.. unfortunatly they do not list where it goes

1. Remove the distributor cap.

2. Remove the rotor screws.

3. Remove the rotor.

4. Align the square slot in the reluctor wheel with the CMP sensor.

5. Remove the CMP sensor fasteners.

6. Remove the CMP sensor.

Why isn't this stuff sticky'd? On SVTPerformance.com (yeah I know, a Ford site, but I've got a Cobra, too) all the sub forums have FAQ's and tech stuff like this together...Great info, tspain!
