My car got broken into last month. SOB took my TomTom.
I have a basic alarm that I installed. No auto start. I hooked up the wires (ignition, etc). For the door pin, I used positive trigger and hooked it to the "puddle light", I don't know the right term but it's the light by the driver's door.
So far, it work's ok. SImple alarm, simple connection. The draw back, I carry the OEM key FOB and the alarm FOB.
Ebay had tons of bypas module but I'm confused on what to get. The cheapest is DEI 555G for $ 20. There is also the DEI 1700 and XK01.
Which one do I get?
