bumper grill

I have the grills to cover my 07 tahoe tow hooks any advise on install. They have 4 threaded stems on the back. When i hold them against the opening they hit the bumper befroe I can get them far enough back.

I take it that they came w/o instructions. If so, then do as Clint Eastwood said in Heartbreak Ridge, "improvise". Aren't they supposed to somehow clamp to the towhook?

The instructions were less than clear.

I installed the Strut ones and i had to remove the Black plastic cover around the toe hooks.

I agree with Riverst, you have to take off that plastic piece around the tow hooks because they attach in place of them!
