Broken driver's seat

Has anyone had trouble with the driver's seat breaking? A few months ago the right side of the back of my driver's seat broke. I took it to the shop and they said that it was a common thing to happen with the Tahoe? Anyway, I got it fixed, and just yesterday it broke again! Has anyone else had this problem, or am I just the lucky one?

I have a 2000 hoe. My seat is not broken but slides back and forth.

Just had this happen...does anyone know what kind of socket to use to remove the seat? or how to disconnect/reconnect the seat airbag properly?

The socket is a Torx E-20.
