+1 on the rear disc conversion. i'm jealous...

i went with the accel coil instead of the msd solely b/c i got a good deal on the accel off ebay ($20). i got some 8.5mm wires off ebay too (similar to the msd wires but much less expensive). the stock coil is a bitch to remove. i suggest a dremel and a hammer. DON'T CUT ANY VACUUM LINES!

i will have to look into this bored throttle body thing. i always planned to remove mine and clean it up real good, possibly give it a good polishing. might be easier to just bolt on a better one!

Thanks! The truck overall is pretty subtle... nothing extreme on it.. but it does everything I need it to do very well. If only it wasn't so thirsty =P

I have to confess... I never removed the stock IG coil! I forgot about it untill I took those pics. I just sungged the new MSD coil near it, and just hooked up the wire to it. I think the stock one is still riveted(?) in place... I meant to clean it up, but I guess I just plain forgot... for so many yrs! haha. Well, Luckily, nothing rubbed and chaffed on each other. It's just nested in there. I know this isn't the way to do it right... and normally I'm anal about this stuff... I guess this is another thing for my Yukon "to do list".

Oh.. JWPotts... I do recommend the CFM-Tech throttle body.. it's a modified stock one, but you will feel a difference... and it's not too expensive either.

This and the MSD ignition are 2 mods I would definitely do again If I got another truck.
