blinker stays on doesnt blink

01' tahoe: Passenger blinker stays on but doesnt blink. even when emergency flashers flash it just stays solid. I did turn the key back and the flashers work on both sides. Is my switch going bad, if so how hard is it to replace? thanks

Usually its an indicator that one of your turn signal bulbs are out. Put your signal on and walk around the truck you will see which one isnt on. If it was the switch the left and right would not work properly

its not that it isnt on. it lights up but doesnt blink. front and back. and indicator inside cab stays lit up not blinking.

does your exterior front abnd back blinkers work?

I had my boat hooked up when this happened. I think it was my boat light had a short causing my tahoe to act up . Unhooked boat and works fine. thanks for the help though.
