Well, I have a 2000 hoe and I am trying to black her out and get rid of the chrome. I purchased a Z71 grille as I know it will fit and wondering what I should do for front and rear bumpers now...
What options do I have? I will list what I know...
1) Z71 bumpers - Do they come painted black? Will I need new foglight setups? Any ideas on cost?
2) Paint stockers - I hear the chrome is a bitch and paint does not stick, so I will need to get the bumper sand blasted and painted and that may cost me.
3) Any aftermarket front bumpers - for rear, I love roll pan look (like last-call has on a thread in pics section), but dunno if it will fit the 4x4. Seems like I will need a new hitch and flip-down plate. I need to install hitch, coz I plan to tow a car with it.
For the front, factory I think looks best. I don't want a rice rocket style bumper which most produce, any clean options out there.
