I think the black chrome looks good. I wish I could have found some in a style I liked.

well i like the Boss 313 Black Chrome wheels, but im not sure if it will stand out like normal chrome. i want a murdered out look but still want them to shine in the sun light. I might be very picky right now but i just cant seem to find a pick of a car with black chrome rims.:nonod:

I have noticed some brands are darker than others, just don't buy the bronze kmc xd series wheels.

black chrome is what you want then, i'd be rolling black chrome if my ride was black, white, or graphite. as jk said sometimes its hard to find your particular taste in rims in black chrome.

on another note, my friend has an H2 that has ALL black chrome, i mean everything! he installed most of it around a year ago, almost every piece (mirrors,grill,doorhandles,h2 badges, grill guard, and more) has nasty chips all over them. it's like there's a clear coat or something that's chipping off. i know that it looks un-repairable and he isn't too happy. i'm not sure if this is because of a coating they have to put over the black chrome, or if he's dumb and doesn't take care of it. i would ask a few people that have had black chrome before buying some. i know i really like the looks of black chrome, but i can't afford to buy black chrome 24's that look nasty like his after a year.
my 2 cents

no, powder coating is pretty thick, whatever color you powdercoat is what color it will be, you won't be able to see through the coating. at least that's my experience.

I second the motion, according to what it sounds like you are looking for, black chrome is deffenatley what you want. My boy has his black 300 on 24" black chrome and it jsut looks so clean. Its like you cant really make what color it is cos they are black but you can see youself in them like it was a mirror in your house. Them things is hott son.

I work at a car lot and we had a newer Trailblazer that was a dark green. It had the Black Chrome Boss 318s on it. They looked sick. I was going to get the 24" Boss 313s in the regular black coating cause my Yukon is Black, I thought it would look great. I had a change of heart and decided to go UP, I mean 6" up, I live in Oregon and we have some real pot holes that tore the 18s I had on my old car. I didn't want to spend $2000 plus and bend a wheel a month later.

I guess it depends on the color of your car. I know they will look good if your car is: white, black, dark green, or grey.

Dolton Il,
I found some blk chromes that I want to throw on my HOE, but with living here in the Chi......and paying $2400 would make me real piss if I bent a
wheel. I do believe that they would set my Hoe off with the blk step tube charcoal at the bottom of the truck.
