Billet Grille and Z71

Purchased a smitty bilt billet grille and for some reason with the z71 package the aluminum grille insert won't allow the billet grille to be flush with the front fascia...is there something I'm doing wrong or do I need to purchase a different billet grille

the z71 grille should be the same as all the other grilles just in a different color...i dnt think the size is different. if i were you i would return ur grille and get a carriage works grille that replaces ur stock grille.
