I have been trying to remove the hinge pins on my 99 Tahoe. Don't want to put a torch to it. I have been soaking them with PB (th old stuff) and Fluid Film (had success using this on other stubborn rusted bolts). I tried the hinge removal tool from Eastwood and mushroomed 2 pins with very little effort. Any help would be appreciated. BTW, just a backyard DIYer.

Read some older post on this same issue. Not enough of a gap to get in a cutting wheel or dremel. I tried heating them and even bought a special tool (waste of money and time). Ended up tearing the door up trying to get them out. I did find a door in a salvage yard in better shape than what I had, and ended up cutting the hinge off, reheated pin area, and used an air hammer to remove it. Still a PITA. Decided on waiting to do the other door, until I can find a better and less destructive way of doing it. Will keep watching the site. Thanks
