Back-up Camera

Does anyone know where i can get a (+) lead wire to activate camera when truck goes in reverse 2002 model. Back-up camera is working already thru my Radio if i select it thru the radio, but if i hook up a (+) lead to the radio to reverse lamp wire it automatically switches to Back-Up cam.

If you remove the driver's side a-pillar trim, there is a lt green wire that has a reverse signal. You can splice into that to turn your BU cam on when in reverse.
That wire runs to the rearview mirror. It disables the autodimming feature on the mirror when the truck is in reverse.

This man knows his sh!t :thumbsup: I'm thinking of doing some sort of bu cam in the future and this bit of info helps me out too ... thnx
