Hi everyone, Im looking at picking up a 2008 Yukon Denali, AWD, and Id like to get some input into how the traction control and stabilitrac works in the snow for you guys. Ive read that its a little dangerous for those of us that are used to driving the vehicle vs the vehicle driving us. Also, Im going to be using the yukon in deep snow at times and mostly on pavement, dirt roads, and not much off roading type stuff. How does AWD work in the deep stuff compared to 4x4. Thanks

Took my esk out today after some rain in 2' of wet grass. A culvert runs thru it and was full of water. Used some gas and made it thru. Coming back a got stuck in the culvert for about 5 minutes but made it out. After I parked about 10 minutes later a gentlemen in his suv told me don't take your esk thru there EVERYONE GETS STUCK! After I told him I made it I ruined his day. Just having fun on the grass!!
