average MPG, whats yours?

whats everyone getting per gallon (the average from the infomation button on the dash)? im gettin 12.2 and im curious to see what others are averaging.

14.9 for the 2008 Z71 (4600 miles)
18.5 for the 2004 LT (31000)
25.2 for the Lucerne :eek2: (18000)

I should probably add that mine would be much lower, but I drive probably 95% of the time on the interstate between Georgia and south Florida.

almost 7000 pound monster i get 14.1 city and 16.4 highway.

keep in mind my truck is huge and i have 4.10 gears which gives me alot of power, but worse fuel economy. o yea and i have a solid lead foot. That is welded to the floor. :smilielol:

12 to 15 city.
It's a 4wd Z71, so it's a bit heavier than the average tahoe.
I'm not a lead foot.

2007 z71 - 4x4;
I do mostly in-town driving - 14.7 is what I'm getting...

I try not to look at the instant mileage as I usually have my foot in it getting around these Prius hybrids that get in my way, and it sucks when they get stuck in my wheel well.

priuses are not that big of a problem here, i need to get around all the fords and toyotas that are stalled or stuck. :lol:

dang. most of my driving is stop and go, and i still do well. you must have a lead foot!

I drive like 5 miles in dead stopped traffic on the way to school in the morning and then I golf four days a week (40 miles interstate each way) and I used to get about 14.2 in my 01 z71 but I've gotten more like 15.8 with the 04 LT real wheel drive (3.42 ratio). I've been happy with the new gas mileage, I can usually make it a whole 7 days without filling up, I was lucky if I made it 5 days with the z71 :thumbsup:. My dad has a lead foot and his 2007 Suburban z71 is usually near 14.

13-15 city and almost 20 highway. Lots of remote starts and driving like a jackass doesn't help but I don't care about the mileage when the 6.0 is singing along at 6000rpm.
