Alright, I installed a new compressor on Saturday morning! It really is a 15 minute job! Maybe less! 3 bolts. Loosen them off, pry on both ends of the bracket to break it free of the rust on the frame and push it up and it comes off!

Now I can hear my compressor come on!!

I finally got mine replaced also, it got here really quickly from Arnott. Mine was not quite a 15 minute job. One of my screws broke while trying to extricate it. Went and picked up some new ones @ the hardware store, and replaced the one holding the dryer on.

Course the new ones were hex head instead of torx head and I couldn't find the right bit. Had to use a small short wrench. Finally got it in. Now my compressor comes on too!
