Are all HID kits the same?

Its hard for me to get the right color pitch on HIDs. These are the 6000Ks on my truck. This was taken at 11:30am this morning. They are pure white with a slint tint of purple/blue but i dont know how to get the camera to pickup the colors really good. I'll post some up later as it gets darker to see if that helps!
