APP sensor

I have a 2003 chevy Tahoe Z71 5.3L
I have to replace the Accelerator pedal position sensor. I have automatic pedal adjustments for seating.

I've asked around and most dealers say that I have to buy the whole pedal (over $300 bucks). Is this true? Or can I just buy the sensor (60 bucks) I've tried googling myself for the past couple of hours with no luck.

APP Sensor you don't have to to replace the entire pedal

After some work, i've cracked the shell. Just wanted to share. I've found that you don't need to replace the entire accelerator pedal to replace the APP sensor ( like most have led me to believe). Posted this vid to share. Hope this helps.
