I got a US Navigation unit in my '07 Denali which is working OK, but since I'm in Qatar, I want to change the region from #1 to #2 so I can have all my DVDs to play and have the FM tuning steps to .1 MHz rather than .2, The guy at the dealership tried that with his Tech II but he kept getting that message "error in line #27" just before finishing the process, and he thinks that I have a hardware problem and I may need to replace the unit.
anyone have any idea where I may have the problem? .. Are these devices would "lock up" in one region and would not change to another?
