I have a 2007 2500 Yukon XL and i am thinking of lifting it. With it being a 3/4 ton, it is kind of a freak and I'm not too sure of my options. Has anybody done any suspension mods to one of these monsters?
'm pretty sure lifting it will be similar to regular Yukons, check www.4wheelonline.com and www.4wheelparts.com for suspension lifts. I suggets nothing bigger than 3" if you don't want to turn that thing into an Assualt Vehicle!
Same suspension as the classic 2500s, I've done 4-8" lifts on the new body trucks. Get some torsion keys from a 1500 chevy along with some bilstein 5100s front and back and it would clear 33s no problem. Rear is leaf spring, add blocks or an add-a-leaf to get 1-2" if necessary.
