ok so ive had my 03 denali for 2 weeks now and i love it. we had our first snow here in pa and the awd and traction control worked like a charm. I want to replace the tires on my truck because the fronts are quite worn and the backs are not too much better. the truck handled the snow great but i could tell the tires were the braking culpret. we are expecting a harsh winter so i want to keep my family safe. i was looking at a few different tires including the yokohama geolanders at-s and the nitto terra grappler
Now i dont have a ton of cash to blow on tires and although i want the nittos (188 each for my stock wheels) there are alittle steep on price. the Geolanders are were my real question comes in. Tirerack has them listed for 117 and another set for 154? the only thing i can think is that one is load range E? and how important is that load range on my truck? any help with why they have the same tires listed at 2 different prices? and anybody with comments on the tires? any commentary is appreciated.

You dont need E unless you are doing some heavy hauling all the time. They will also ride harder cause usually they have an extra belt. You will be fine if you stick with the standard tire.

I just bought Bridgestone Dueler H/Ts for my Tahoe. I had them on my last truck and they were nice in all weather. I have 17" and I wanted a little wider so I got 275/60-17. I thought they would only be an inch shorter, but I after I got them it seems closer to 2". I probably should have gotten the stock size or 275/65-17.
I got them at Tirerack and mounted and roadforce balanced them myself. They were $145 each.
