Amsoil fluids throught?? Anyone running them

Thinking of switching all fluids over to amsoil(tranny, rearend, oil).Have 100k and has always ran valvaline dura blend. Always ran amsoil in all my toys and never had a problem.

Also new to the site... its great. can anyone help me out with a vin check

I'm not running it, but I haven't heard anything bad about it, either. Some guys I know absolutely swear by the stuff.

Opinions are like @$$holes - everybody's got one, and they all stink. Pick what works for you. Any decent quality oil will work just fine in these trucks. They aren't picky.

I run Royal Purple in my crankcase. Whenever I get around to changing the oil in the front and rear end I'd like to go with RP as well. I have nothing against the Amsoil, I know lots of people swear by it and I've never heard anyone swear at it. Word of mouth, talking to friends, the data and studies on their web page (yes I know, they are selling the product) all speak highly of the benefits of the RP so that's what I go with.

I'm looking to go Royal Purple all around too. The local racing team here uses RP in their Porsche GT3 Cups so its good enough for a $200k race car, then that's saying something.
