AC self check?

I am about to test (and hopefully buy) a 2001 Tahoe. On my previous cars there have been a AC self check system. Is there one on the Tahoe?

Example: Saab 93, press auto+off button simultaneous and it will pressurize and check for leaks.

I just checked my FSM and it shows that you would need a Refrigerant Station to Diagnose the system. Nothing Onboard as far as I know.

This is correct, on our trucks you need to have it tested by a qualified licensed professional with a Refrigerant station as stated.
