Sunday after watching a disappointing Steeler loss to the AZ Cardinals I sat in stop and go parking lot traffic for 45 minutes. Had my foot on the brake pedal for much of the time. The 07 Tahoe ran fine after getting out of the parking lot until I stopped at a fast food window (About 20 miles later from stadium.). I heard a small thump and saw the DIC display the Traction Control and Stabilitrac service message. Once I got to where I could pull over I turned the truck off waited a minute (Per the manual.) and started the truck back up. As per the manual, it cleared the DIC service messages but now the ABS or traction control is acting up. I if I slowly roll to a stop there is no issue. But if I have to apply medium pressure to the brake pedal from about 20 MPH or above, it feels as if the ABS is taking over or the traction control is doing something to the front wheels. It has that feeling like you're coming to a stop on snow and the front just slides a little then catches dry pavement. Has anyone else experienced this or can offer any insight into this (Other than going to the dealer which I will do.). Any information is greatly appreciated.
