Ok so recently my wife tells me that when she hits any sort of bump, be it a small road ripple or a pothole.. both of the dash lights for the ABS and parking brake light up for a few seconds.

I can usually figure these things out however this has got me baffled. A loose wire somewhere possibly?

Sounds like an intermittent connection.
The wheel speed sensor is OK? and the parking brake is not partially depressed.
Man, I dunno..

Don't try to fix them both at the same time. I would start with the ABS sensor. Is the E-Brake loose? I guess you wouldn't know if your DRL flicker or turn off when this happens. I always depress my brake just enough to turn my DRL off. I just don't think the two problems are connected. Just happen at the same time. JMO

Ahh ok I can do that. Now the ABS sensor would be located physically on the caliper or disc area?

On my 99 the ABS sensor thingy is attached to the wheel hub/bearing assy.

Remove the caliper and then the rotor. the next piece is the wheel bearing/hub assy. there is a wire coming off that piece that is the ABS sensor.
when you buy the assembly, it is included, you can just bolt the whole thing on there, and connect the plug from the old sensor to the new sensor.

( I mean, IF the bearings are the trouble)

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but is the brake fluid reservoir full? I had a situation once in another vehicle with the same type of thing and it was because the fluid was low enough that when you hit bumps or cornered a little tight, the fluid sensor (brake lights) would turn on.
Just a thought.
