A few rim questions, need opinions

I am friends with a guy who owns a custom shop in Dallas called JR's. Anyways, he stockpiled 4 different types of fortune alloy rims to sell direct so that he could make more of a profit. He is making me a deal for any 4 Fortune Alloy 24" rims and tires installed for 3,250. He also is offering to do the brand new kenwood nav unit with ipod compatability integrated into my steering wheel controls for 1,799 installed. My first question is, does anyone know anything about Fortune Alloy rims? I had never heard of them before 2 days ago. Are they a good brand? Second, is that price for the rim and tire package a good deal? Third, if it were you would you take this deal? And if so, which one of the attached designs would you go with? Thanks for the opinions guys!

reasonable price for the 24's, wouldnt call a good friend deal by any means tho, you can snag a set 24 DBL-G's 3800 with tires, which im sure is a better brand then Fortune (which I have never heard of) but i dont like any of em that i see. try some sites online you can find some bada$$ deals on there where you wont be limited to only 3 designs

Never heard of those rims before. not a good deal. I bought U2-35 24" rims the same ones the Jkmotorsports has. I paid $2300 for the rims and tires mounted with nuts and lock and with shipping. They have a 6" lip. I bought them on ebay.

It easy you just set up an account. I personally called the guy and bought them on the phone and chose my tires. You can even haggle the price lower on the phone. His number is on the link. I got my rims with 2 weeks. All I had to do is put them on because they were already balance and ready to go.

Very rare brand of rims but not really prestige in any manner! Not a good deal either...........even worse considering he is your close friend.

Keep looking till you find something else you like. It's not a bad price, but there other wheels out there with at least the same quality and better and more styles available for that price. This is something you're going to drop some loot on, so make sure you spend time looking at all the available wheels and choose a set you really like.
