I have read over some threads and have somewhat of an idea but may need a little bit of knowledge thrown my way. Let me start with what it is doing. A/C has been working great. By the way this is a 04 LT Tahoe dual climate control with rear A/C. I was leaving work and it was working. got about 200 feet from our parking lot and a squealing noise started and in a matter of seconds cold air went from cold to hot. The belt from the crank??? to the compressor is not in good shape. my dad said he can turn the compressor freely by hand while motor is off of course. also the clutch looks a little funny along the edges by the pulley like as if it has got hot. maybe bad clutch? Any help would be appreciated. Also where can i locate part numbers to no what clutch, compressor etc i would need?
