hey new here but i was wondering if any of you have run into this problam? I have a 2001 tahoe and the ac clutch stoped working, so i checked all my electrical and and pressures it was good, and still blowing cold before it just quite one day. So i jumped the pressure switch on the back of the compressor and every thing worked fine. but when i go to the parts store the only one they say the have for my tahoe has a different style connector on it. also mine is purple in color, i don't know if that matters or not. Thanks if any body can help

What Was The Outside Temperature When It Quit Working? And Does It Work Now? Mine Seems To Want To Quite At 84 Degrees And Works Fine At Lower Temps. Mine Also Wants To Overheat If The Ac Is Trying To Run At Temps Above 84. With The Ac Off I Have No Problem.

every thing else works fine just the switch on the back of the compressor is bad. when i go to the parts store they try to give me one with a round looking connector and mine has a connector just like the cycling switch on the accumulator.
