99 Tahoe Wanting A Transplant

I Have A 99 Tahoe, 4x4 With 160k Miles, I Purchased A Wrecked 2005 Denali Pick Up With A 6.0 40k Miles And Also 4x4, Could I Install The Engine Of The 05 Denali To The 00 Tahoe, I Have All Wiring And Computers, I Want To Install Complete Engine,transmission, Transfercase And Rear End, Is It Possible And If Yes How Hard Is It, If Not I Have The Frame (which Is Still Good) Of The Denali Pickup, Or Would It Be Easier To Swap Bodies? Thanks In Advance

Which body style is the 99, they came in either style. If it's the newer style it shouldn't be a big deal to do that. If it's the older style I'm not saying that it can't be done, but it'll be a lot of work.

I don't think swapping the bodies would be very easy. The frames are way different. Not sure about swapping the engine even with the computers from the 05. You would need to swap the body computer and everything. The wiring is completely different also. This would probably be a better question for the guys over on the fullsizechevy.com forums, they're pretty technical over there. Good Luck, hope you can figure something out.
