Hey guys, hope someone can help, I've tried searching before I asked but it seems most fellas with the brake light issues have the center high mount working, yet mine does not... So the story goes...

Another guy in a tahoe bumped me awhile back just forward of the front wheel well on my passenger side. Since then I've had no back brake lights or turn signals and no center mount brake light either. I do have front turn signals but they fast flash.

I checked fuses and bulbs and did have to replace one bulb but did not help. I checked the brake light switch and also just in case played with the hazards to no avail. I've checked grounds in the engine bay and the left frame rail but have not gotten to the rear bumper ground yet, I also was not aware of grounds on the lower radiator support that I read about in another thread. I also need to check the flasher relay which I'm doing today.

Any ideas

Ground rear of left wheel well on frame? behind bumper for tail lights ground CHMSL ground is in left B pillar, CHMSL is supplied through mulitifunction switch like rear lights, except CHMSL output also feeds cruise control for deactivation of cruise by brake.

Alright the rear left ground didn't change anything... Didn't get to the b pillar ground as it started to rain...

I was playin with the turn signals though and noticed that right before the flasher is activated I get a bad sound coming from my multi switch on the steering column. During usual use I don't hear it because it stops once the turn signal is activated.

Playing with the hazards didn't change anything, but I'm thinking the multi function switch is bad... And correct me if I'm wrong but that could be causing all these issues?

To clarify on this, the buzzing sound is coming from above the brake pedal where the connectors are and not from the turning signal unit itself.
