New Member and looking for some help! OK well i am a owner of a 1999 Tahoe 5.7L 4 Door. i have to replace my fuel lines as do to the lovely rust i endure here in New Jersey from all the salt. Ive ordered the line from rock auto and my problem is when i went to take off my fuel tank straps i noticed they are in bad condition as well and need replacing. i called GM and got part numbers (15721903 & 15721904) because the 4 door isnt the standard it is really hard to find the straps aftermarket. Everything i find will fit 2 door models only. I NEED HELP. so any input would be appreciated. i would rather buy straps that fit then have to fabricate them on my own. the ones on the truck seem to have the normal T hooks on one side and the other side bolts up on angle THRU the frame. no straight up line most i find online. Thank you all. and Happy Thanksgiving.

Well be prepared to do more than the line. Typically when in salt road rust states the snout at the pump is trashed also and breaks when try to take apart. Do the filter too. Dorman 4 door Diesel #578-299 or check at Amazon and ebay.

Thank you raiderron, i looked up the part number you posted but still does not seem to be the right looking straps. have you used these on 4 door tahoes before? cause what i can tell the straps i have bolt to the outside frame rail just above the fuel line and the bolt goes thru the frame to the strap. or can i use the straps you posted and bolt them to another location. Details? and thank you for the heads up ill get a new filter too and i have already done the brake lines :whymewhyme:

The diesel straps were the only ones listed for a 4 door so I wanted you to look and see if you thought they would work. I would not want to adapt anything for this. Get the correct ones.

I did find 1 dealer that according to the web site says they have the parts/straps. Northridge, Ca. Chevy dealer at 1-888-737-9766 and it says they are less then $5 each.

Check LMCTRUCK out of Olathe KS IIRC.....

99 fuel pump module should have plastic connectors on module so they wont rust..... But the fuel line disconnect shells will probably be steel and rusty.
