99 Tahoe front end bump noise?

I have a 99 Tahoe 4x4. I notice that starting from a stopped position I get through first gear then in between the 2nd and 3rd gear I get a jolt like something almost locked up but didn't. Feels like I just ran over something on the drivers side front end. Doesn't happen all the time but getting worse. I checked all u joints and they are tight. Any ideas? Drives and handles fine just an occasional bump when starting off sometimes. Has me puzzled and worried the front tranny going bad.

You have more than one transmission?

Wonder if you dont need to lubricate the slip-yoke....... Special waxy grease.....

Tranny went out. Wouldn't go in reverse. Ugh! Had it towed to shop and I know it'll be expensive!
