99 Hard stall

Hope for some help on this weird one I cant fugure out

99 Yukon, 140K on it. STarts up fine in the AM or after sittting a while then I put it in drive and start to pull away and it stalls. Never stalls at a stop light or after its been running for a bit. But when this thing stalls it shuts down all electrical knocking out the clock causing me to reset the time every day (hope this may be a clue and mekes me thing its a electrical issue) Thanks for help on this one.

I had a similar problem with mine. It would start up and was fine, put it in reverse and dead. It turned out to be a simple fix. It was the positive battery cable to the ECM box. I checked everything and thanks to the guy's on this board they started me in the right direction. Sometimes it can be simple and other times it will make you pull your hair out. I have a 99 LT that I just purchased with almost 100K on it. I have a similar experience but mine is a little different.

When I start the truck up for the first time in the morning and go to drive away, my truck kind of hesitates as I am giving it gas. Then it will all of the sudden drive fine. By the next light it is normal? It is just that initial giving it a decent amount of gas because it starts up fine, I back out of the driveway fine and then when in drive and I give it a decent amount of gas is when it falls on its face.

Now I am not sure when or what has ever been replaced so I am going to start doing some tune up stuff. I may try and seafoam it, then new plugs, cap, wires and possibly a K&N setup like you guys have been talking about. I am debating about the K&N intake system or just a drop in.

Looks to have worked, replaced the wires and problem stopped
