Haven't posted for a while, but have still been trying to narrow down the probs with my 99 Tahoe - when I have the time. It's been 1 thing after another with this truck and I know you're all going to hate me for saying this but..... WTF did I expect? I had a great experience with my 95 but let's face it - LUCKY!
These trucks, especially once they got beyond the throttle body injection set-up, are JUNK! I have owned more than my fair share of jap-wagons, most recently a 1990 Toyo 4runner that I bought for about 1/14th of what I have put into this stinkin hoe, and drove it for 3 years without a hiccup.
Now I've been told by more than one person, good luck to you with your "spider injection" and your multiple O2 sensors "F-ing" with the way your truck runs - the folks at GM couldn't ever get it right to start with, don't expect to make it right now.
Sorry to say it, but my intention is to shine this bitch up, pull the battery cables to clear the codes, and pawn this POS off on someone as foolish as I was to think a 15 year old American SUV was anything more than a never-ending money pit.
