I have a 99 tahoe ,
2000 limited for parts
,2000 limited for sale,
1999 Z71 tahoe limited for parts

my 99 gas gauge works fine..the 3 others do not..they just vibrate and jump all over

I am going to try a cheap fix for those who have the same problem...Under $25...yes..and you can save alot because you dont need a whole fuel pump.

I will keep you updated once i get it fixed here in a day or two.

I have gm parts for 67-98 trucks and OBS tahoe,burbs..ect..

Parting out whats left of a 2000 limited and a 99 Z71 limited

I have dashes, wire harnesses, door panels..anything you need..i may have it..small or large..I like old full size gm trucks..and these tahoes are about the last ones built good...

I will be glad to :help: anyone that needs :help::waytogo:

While you are working on a fix, you may want to double check the stepper motors in the clusters, they are known for going out and jumping around like you described.

Two things that cause fuel gauge problems 1. Stepper motor(like clkelley said it's VERY common) and 2. Fuel sender unit(kinda common about 45/55%).
