my oil pressure on the gauge on the dash goes low unless i let the truck warm up for no less than ten minutes if i just jump in an drive all day the oil pressure when i come to a stop the oil gauge will be low an my the check gauges light to come on any ideas on how i can fix an i change my oil every three thousand miles

Does it start to rod knock when the oil pressure goes low and the light comes on? If not then perhaps the sender is bad.....
