97 Tahoe spline count and new posi ?'s

Hey, I have a 97 Tahoe 2 door with the z71 and g80 codes. My g80 no longer works and I am looking into purchasing a new posi. I am trying to decide between a Auburn LSD Eaton LSD or Detroit Trutrac. I do a little bit of muddy trail driving and tons of snow/ice driving. I don't want something as aggressive as a locker, or do I? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I also need to figure out my axle spline count. I know it is the 8.5 10 bolt but can figure out the spline count. After looking at a few diffs it would seem it is a 30 spline. I called two dealerships and they couldn't tell me it, gave them the VIN and everything. So I guess I want suggestions on a good snow/ice diff and to know what the spline count is.

Go with the Trutrac. It won't let you down and it's pretty much bulletproof.
