97 Tahoe P1345 Service Engine Code....

Help me out here, please.. My 97 tahoe seemed to be running fine. Untill this morning when I started it the service enging soon light came on. Took it to Autozone and code came back as p1345.. The hell does this code mean, and the hell do I have to fix? is it the timing? :mad3:

that code is crankshaft position sensor. in my book it`s not hard to change
but a shop will have to scann a code to set it (calabrate)the new sensor.

it`s behind the harmonic balancer under the truck. i love my 95 it don`t have all these sensors!!! good luck

a its a 8 mil bolt in the bottom of the timing cover but i am sure that is a crank cam corelation problem its sounds to me that possibky your distributor is loose and its twisting you have to be plus or minus 2 degrees from tdc. alot of times if you have recently had intake gaskets changed then someone did not set the distributor right so trust me i fix em for A LIVING
