97 tahoe 4l60e no tach no speedo

Hello all...

The Hoe has some issues

There's no Speedo, no Tach, no PRND321 lights, trans only has first and third gears when manually shifting.

I know both a and b shift solenoids are not working and I got some kind of a TCC electrical problem/short circuit from the code reader.

I just don't see how these could affect the speedo and tach

Anyone else with this problem was it a fix for a shade tree'er or the tranny shop. any other fixes

To be honest, sounds like you have a problem directly related with the PCM, or some kind of wiring problem.. not so much a tranny prob - Your PCM controls your speedo, tach, park drive etc lights, and your solenoids
