97 hoe daytime running light problems

i know most people want these off but it just bugs me this is the only thing that doesnt work fuse is good bought new relay still nothing the light is on my dash for the dtrl and when i engage the park break the light goes off but even with light on dash on i have no dtrl new bulbs also nothing
HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

are you sure the right bulbs are in them and the connectors are not corroded? check for any frayed wires.

have they ever worked since you've had the truck? if not the previous owner may have cut them out.

Have you checked the DRL diode?

Mine do not work ethier.. mine used to work, but the truck set for two years (drove it on one year intervals.. other than cranking it up ever now and again) and they do not work any more.. along with the fuel guage...

You got a 97, i have a 99 - i wonder if it is the same setup on both? i see the diode on the 96.. wonder if they used the same on 99 - probably so.. i'll check tomm.
