97 A/C issues

I tried to fill my 97 up with freon the other day but it will not take any, the air still blows hot. The clutch works, blower motor works but it just wont take any freon. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

bad lines, speciffically the port adapters..... I had a bad set, got a new set off line and all is good with the world again..... Cept one of the cheap plastic knobs on my guage set broke....

Get a spray bottle with soapy water and spray the lines compressor everything while its running. Or you can get a dye kit for it. I had the same issue but it was my compressor leaking. also the vent doors to switch it over from hot to cold might not be working right. I had two switches with broken gears in the boxes.
