Just discovered my truck came with the Z71 Package and it lists the Z71 Skidplate in the RPO codes.

now where is this skid plate supposed to be? i have a feeling mine dissappeared somewhere along the line of owners.

Actually you should have two of them with RPO NZZ. The front one is an all aluminum front underbody shield starting behind front bumper and running to 1st cross-member protecting front underbody, oil pan, and differential case. The second is an all steel frame-mounted shield that protects the transfer case.

the T-case plate is still there, but the front plate is long gone then.

are u talking about the codes in the glove box? are those pro codes? if so whats the z71 code? and where did u find the dictionary for those codes?
