i have a 96 tahoe 106k miles, shes been making what i belive is lifter noise on cold starts and then the noise would go away after 5min or so, im using mobil 1 5w30 same with oil filter, just had a recent change about not even 1,000 miles ago, i added some seafoam to the oil hoping that it would help and it did the ticking was only lasting for a few seconds and went away, today i took a 2 hour drive to a destination and back (4 hours total) and now the ticking is constant even when the engine is nice and warm. Any ideas? noise seems to be coming from the top of the engine but from both sides, here is a video of it, please help, thanks.

Shouldnt have run the seafoam, suspect you may have loosend some crud and now your valve train may be running dry.... I would pull the valve covers and see what you can see..... How does the bottom end sound?
